1994 . . .

Jim Weber, a Virginia salesman with a local concrete block company, and over twenty-five-years experience, came to the conclusion that there was a far better and more esthetic way to “build walls.” 

In 1994, he made the decision to strike out on his own. With the help of his wife, Dawn, Jim started a segmental retaining wall business out of the basement of his townhouse. In a little over five years, and a brand new office, the business has grown into a prosperous company now known as Segmental Wall Specialists, Inc.

Today  . . . 

With a full-time staff of 25, Jim and Dawn are still thoroughly involved in the business on a daily basis.  There is a culmination of over 50 years of combined experience among the staff. They dedicate themselves to serving businesses and private clients achieve their goals in a timely, cost effective, courteous and professional manner.  

The Segmental Wall Team has 5 of the friendliest, most knowledgeable and committed installation crews working today. This is important to our clients, because that means they will see the same familiar faces, year after year. A phone call is always answered and Jim Weber, President, is always reachable.

We have a wonderful facility located on Sudley Road in Catharpin, Va. With excavators ranging from 7,000 to 70,000 pounds, we are able to manage most, if not all, projects regarding retaining walls and paver applications.
